March Giveback Partner: White Oak Bicycle Co-op
Our March Giveback Partner is White Oak Bicycle Co-op!
WOBC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting bikes to local kids and folks who need reliable transportation. They do this by repairing used bicycles, creating community workshop events, and teaching biking and safety skills at local schools.
March Giveback Day is on March 20, and on that day, a percentage of our daily proceeds will go to WOBC to help their efforts. That’s not the only way you can giveback to them, though!
Every BeCaffeinated location functions as a drop-off point for donations to WOBC, so if you have an old bike or equipment that you would be willing to part with, come by and donate it! They also do a community repair night every Monday at 6 PM, where folks can go to their headquarters located on Lyndon Avenue in Red Bank to help with repairing bikes.
WOBC also has several great local events coming up, so make sure to click the link in our bio to visit our website and learn more about all of these. We can’t wait to giveback with them and you!

Bagel of Change Initiative - Food Insecurity:
The initiative for this quarter of the Bagel of Change program is Food Insecurity.
The goal of this initiative is to have a community fridge installed at the 12th and Peeples camp managed by Help Right Here Chattanooga, an organization that delivers survival support and housing assistance to those who need it most. To get a community fridge set up at the 12th and Peeples camp, we are also partnering with Chattanooga Community Fridge, a mutual aid group that creates and maintains community fridges in the Chattanooga area. Building this fridge will give the members of the 12th and Peeples camp community a supply of healthy and high-quality food and create a new space where donations can be made to help those experiencing food insecurity.
You can support the Bagel of Change Program by getting active with the groups involved.
Chattanooga Community Fridge is always looking for help with stocking its fridges with high-quality fresh foods. Make sure to follow them on Instagram to be alerted of their needs. Their fridges are located at:
-1918 Union Avenue
-3300 Brannon Avenue
Help Right Here also has many volunteering opportunities. Learn about those by clicking here!
